Wow, just thought of a scenario.

Trade Hamilton for the 4th OV (maybe EDM adds a second?)

This opens up a D spot for the expansion draft for calgary.
Columbus is desperate to get rid of Tyutin because he has a NMC and they need to protect their other 3 D-men (Jones, Murray, Johnson)
- offer Columbus 6OA for 3OA + Tyutin. Promise them that we will not draft Brown.

come away with 3OA, 4OA and Tyutin for the 6OA and Hamilton.

The only way Hamilton is going to the oilers is if they overpay. As iggyfan said they could be trying to get 3rd and 4th.

No way in hell Calgary moves Hamilton to the Oilers, or Hamilton period IMO. Calgary will not move any of the young core. Makes no sense. Picks and vets and salary are in play I am sure, but not the young core, and that includes Hamilton.
