GeoEye-2 built by Lockheed Martin to be launched in 2013 has a black and white resolution of 25cm (each pixel represents 25 cm on the ground).
Getting a higher resolution, enough to do facial recognition, is almost impossible due to atmospheric conditions. Unless, they are decades and decades and decades ahead....
But.....
