Bumping your own thread

Say, is there a rule against bumping your own thread multiple times in a row? especially self promoting ones?

Not explicitly no, basically if it becomes disruptive then it would be looked at, but in other cases it's not a big deal.

Maybe, but it is for a cause and it does benefit the site, and it's not going to be forever. One thread can be ignored pretty easily.

It's a cause, but I dont know if "good" causes includes himself and his friends who probably can finance extra curricular activities themselves
