If Rhino doesn't win this one I'll eat my hat.

Reinhart shouldn't be this low in the rankings. He should be #2, but I can understand #3. Can't figure out how anybody who saw him wouldn't have voted for him more in the previous rounds.

I think Reinhart finished in the Top 10 Norris Trophy voting only 1 time in his career (7th)

you may as well add Dennis Wideman and Adrian Aucoin to this list, they are certainly better than a number of the guys who are there...of course unless this goes 15+ rounds it is kind of irrelevant.

Edit: Meant to quote Buff.
I saw Reinhart and didn't vote for him last round (went with Gio). He was very good, but also had plenty of god-awful play and was robbed of some good years at the end due to injury. His game totals my not be as high as you might remember.
From the older crew, I actually think McCrimmon and Macoun might be more underrated. My all-time underrated guy is Konroyd. Loved that guy as a steady stay at home defenseman back in the day.

What is the justification from the people that selected Gio last round for not picking Brodie this round?
Brodie has been the undisputed best Flames d-man since Gio got hurt in 2014-15.
Brodie has already been the #1 D man on the Flames almost as long as Gio.

Because he hasn't been the undisputed best Flames d-man.
Even counting Gio's injury and relatively slow start to last season, Brodie would have been the number 1 guy for less than half of a season. The Flames have been around for a long time, there are plenty of good options to choose from, including Brodie.

I can't believe Kari Eloranta is on the list. He was a terrible defenseman - in the bottom pairing on a not very good team. I'd include about 100 others before him.

May as well throw Joel Bouchard and Jamie Allison in there if we're going with Eloranta as an option.

I believe it was suggested in a previous thread, not sure. I'd tend to agree with you.
Maybe I just saw a Scary Eloranta post and it stuck in my head.

He'd be up there with Anders Eriksson in my poll on who is the Flames all-time worst defenceman.

Phil Housley is not getting the respect he deserves on this list (and I'm not even a fan of his). Likely because he was on the Flames when we were terrible, and maybe even the age of some posters on here.

Since 2014-15 when Gio got hurt isn't a very long time in the scope of "All Time". And while I think your point has some merit, it is far from "undisputed". Which is likely where the justification may come from.
