Maybe I lived in Vancouver for too long, but I kind of like the rain. Walking in the rain is life affirming to me.

I dont mind the rain but this is getting a bit much. I cant remember the last time it rained this many days in a row. My buddy (and fellow CPer T It Up) has family over here from England. Imagine making that trip only to get here and sit in the rain for a week.

Beautiful day in Lethbridge, partly cloudy with sun, and some cells nearby with funnel clouds. Was chasin them this morning, now off to work. I love the rain, usually it brings other bad weather with it... I'm a lightning fanattic also. B-)

Anyone know if you can put a dog in the dryer?

Hell no!
30 seconds in the microwave should do the trick, though.
I grew up on a farm so I always feel positive about rain in the springtime. A bit of sun for the Stamps game Tuesday night would be nice, though.

As a homeowner who has put sod in his backyard in the past month, I'd love to see another week of good solid rain. Than it can stop. Months like May where it's bone dry are a pain in the ass because you have to water every single day which costs a small fortune, and setting up and moving the sprinklers sucks (especially when you were too cheap and lazy to install an underground system before hand). The golf courses also benefit as it makes them nice and lush. So long as it helps my grass and gets the golf courses in prime shape for the next 4 months I'm happy.

Awesome. I can only imagine what the mosquito population will be like this year. I'm one of those people that emits a mosquito "eat me" homing beacon. I'll be taking baths in DEET now....
But good for the fairways I agree.

It's getting pretty tiring to me. Feels like BC or UK although the advantage is that at least BC'ers I know can't say "it's so brown here".

You know I'm sort of baffled at how much hate people have for the rain. When it's a absolutely pouring out I can understand it, but a tiny drizzle can be kind of refreshing.
Most people are in cars anyways.
