Utah Saints, Utah Pioneers, Utah Battalion…the possibilities are endless.
Will probably end up being something nature-related like “Wasatch Front” though.

Delta Center is going to be a nightmare for NHL games. I'm fascinated to see how they look on TV because it doesn't seem great at all.

Tax funds have already been appropriated for a new Dual Hoops/Hockey venue. https://www.sportsbusinessjournal.co...n-hockey-arena

Delta Arena will be temporary until the new place is built. Like when the Senators played in the Civic center. Regardless anything is an upgrade from the community rink they play in now

Alright, let's be real, if Mullett is a community rink, then the Ottawa Civic Center is an outdoor pond.
I understand the temporary aspect of the Delta Center but the less time the NHL stays there, the better. It's closer to Mullett than any other NHL rink.

The owner of the Yotes paid $300 million, and he's selling the franchise for $1 billion....$700 million in cool profit for being horrible at managing your investment.

As FlamesAddiction pointed out, it's very similar to the layout for hockey at Barclays Center, except that the scoreboard is not off-centre.

All I can get

I have a feeling it's going to be Utah Yeti. It's a name Ryan Smith has mused about on social media. It fits in with the cryptid trend (see Seattle Kraken).
The Avalanche haven't used the Bigfoot secondary logo in almost 10 years... I can see Utah prying it away.

Yetis are "from" the Himalayas. Does the name just sound cool? Is there an actual connection?

And Kraken are from the North Atlantic.
"The Utah Bigfoot" isn't as fluid as a name.

If Pittsburgh can have penguins, then Utah can have Yetis.... I guess. The Kraken is also from Norse mythology, and that didn't stop Seattle.
I don't like "Yeti" either though. It sounds kind of goofy.

Keep it music themed, but most importantly music that in no way identifies with Salt Lake City or Utah. Some of these roll right off the tongue!
The Utah Electronica
The Utah Chillwave
The Utah Trap
The Utah Chiptune

I'm not crazy about regional or state names. My preference is the Salt Lake City... or Salt Lake... rather than Utah...
