The owners of Sophie's were the original owners of Spiros and they made the better pizza. I have a lot of childhood memories from that place, too bad it had to change.

Best karaoke night in the city.
Bob is a funny guy, he's crazy social on Friday nights after he's knocked a few back, and crazy grumpy and introverted every other night when he's sober.
His margarita pizza is to die for though.

Seniore's is awesome! The Donair Pizza is great, but after I eat one I feel like I am going to get a heart attack. so greasy... but so good.

Any best pizza in town thread starts and ends with Red Carpet/Hawaiian Pizza in Mayfair place.
If it still existed Venus Pizza was the pizza of the gods.

There's a pizza joint beside that donair place on 12th ave and 10th st. I don't remember the name of the place, as I unfortunately discovered it the day before I moved too far from DT to order it, but that was some damn good pizza.
The name though... It started with a 'P', and IIRC, it was something like Pisano's.

Pizza 3000 in Shawnessy, right next to the Safeway, is absolutely delicious and the price is right too. They have unlimited toppings and a pick up special. My buddy and I got a 16" Meat Lovers for $14 the other day. Best pizza in the city, especially when price is factored in.
Other pizza places I like are Atlas (Memorial Dr.), Tops (Fairmount Dr.), and Urban (Acadia Dr.).

Houston Pizza in the northeast used to be the tits. Now I have to go to Medicine Hat to get it.
Had it twice in the summer, it's better than ever. Too bad that one near London Town Square had to close.

Paisano's. I haven't had it yet, but it's close to where I live so maybe I'll give it a try.

I hope you post afterward so that I know whether the place is legit, or if the delicious pizza I got that time was just luck on my part.

It's been mentioned many times, and for good reason. They make amazing thin-crust pizza.
Someone also mentioned A Pizza Plus as a great choice for greasy Greek style pizza. I tried it recently after reading a review in FFWD. It was damn good pizza, but the heartburn it left me with kept me up all night. Grabs some Tums if you order from them.

I just drove by Paesano's an hour or so ago. Was thinking of stopping in for a pie but I didn't. Let me know how it is.

I too was going to try it tonight, unfortunately for them they must have a phobia of the phone, I've tried their number 3 times and no ones been bothered to pickup.
So instead we shall try Vogglios thin crust pizzas.

I always order from
Gusto's Restaurant & Lounge

Calgary, AB T2C
Gusto's special kicks ass.

Bt the way, this place is in the middle of an idustrial parkm, so I think almost no one would know about it. It is closed Sundays.

So I went down to Paesano's and ordered their special. The meat, veggies, sauce and cheese were all plentiful and tasty. The only negative is the crust, which was a little too doughy for my liking.
Overall it was pretty good, and worth another visit especially because it was pretty cheap.
