without reading the article, I will assume he fell off of something to hurt himself...falling 10 inches should not result in critical condition

My fave episode was the one where he was put on a diet by Mr Drummond.

I think he started to eat a powdered jelly donut which the Gooch stole from him before he could finish it. Unfortunately, he didn't realize that he had a powdered sugar 'stache. When Mr Drummond asked him if he had been cheatin' on his diet, he lied, then Mr Drummond swiped some of the sugar off of his lip and tasted it, then busted his ass.
Oh, and the one where what's her name washed her hair with rain water from a copper bowl, only to have her hair turn green...haha, stuck up bitch!

Get well Gary, you lil' scamp.

The Different Strokes curse is still alive and strong.

Dana Plato - Became a drug addict, did soft core porn, robbed a video store and died of a drug overdose

Todd Bridges - Arrested multiple times, was a huge drug addict, though he has turned his life around.

Gary Coleman - Was robbed by his parents, ended up bankrupt and working as a mall security guard, was sued by a woman for punching her out and ridiculed on Youtube when he was at work. Now it looks like the end is near.

^ No kidding. and the "curse" doesn't stop at just cast members.

Plato's death was actually ruled a suicide. Her 25 year old son also killed himself by a self inflicted gunshot to the head just a few weeks ago, 2 days prior to the 11th anniversary of his mothers suicide.

14 posts and no pics of him in the Oilers dressing room with Mark Messier and a hand towel around his waist?

He seemed to have gone off the deep end over the past few years, but he was always really likable prior to that. Unless I'm thinking of Webster. Either way, RIP.

When the news first broke, I had a bad feeling that this was going to be the end result.

RIP Gary.
