Default Shaw HD not working correctly

So my problem is that I have just got a new TV and new HD shaw box. When I hook them up all the regular channels work fine but when I go to the HD channels every 30 seconds or so there is some pixelation.

I checked the FAQ on the shaw site and it says to make sure both the tv and box are plugged into a wall and not a surge protector - which they are. The box is set to 1080p and it is only the HD channels that have the problem. (it happens during hockey, AE, Discovery,etc... not just fast moving scenes or anythign like that) Except I did notice it did not happen during Simpsons.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - Thanks!

(It could be a TV setting or something but I have tried altering almost every option including the automotion settings and have had no success)

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

^^ My guess is he works for Shaw in the call centre or as a tech; and is allowing the OP to jump the queue.

Why isn't your TV supposed to be plugged into a surge protector?

My T.V. and Receiver are rather expensive and I have them both plugged into a battery backup/surge protector. It works fine.
