Well there goes the season.

It was a tough first round opponent and when we failed to win game 2 of the series we put ourselves in a bad spot with Chara coming back.

Truth be told Ravi's a more active guy and deserves to get to move on, and he does have the better team. Congrats to him.

This may be the end of the Oilers run of playoff seasons. Pretty much all our players had poor or injury filled NHL seasons. Guys like Koivu and Osgood have unmovable conracts and we have no picks in the next two years. We leveraged ourselves a bit to try and do something this year and now we'll pay for it.

We thank Grant and Jeff for their efforts in simming games all season long. The time that everyone puts in to keep this league going is much appreciated.

I can't believe the Stars have managed to push the Kings to Game 7...looks like we have a couple of Game 7's to look forward to!

Congrats to the Ducks for moving on to the 2nd round...the Oilers did their best to put up a fight but it's tough to match up against the Ducks on paper.

Well the Ducks get the 4th win and advance to the 2nd round. Kotalik scored again for the Ducks, he has been a good UFA addition for us. Kostitsyn and Sharp each had 6 points in the series to lead the Ducks. Iginla/St Louis had 4 each and will need to be better. Our D core all played fairly well with the exception of bouwmeester. He had 2 points and -2 despite top line minutes most of the series.

Thanks to Chad for the tough series. Sucks that one of our seasons had to end but contrary to your belief, the Oilers will be back in the playoffs next year.

What a win! My ears are still ringing from the crowd going crazy after the game winning goal by Timonen.

The real hero of the past 2 games has been Hiller. Hiller has stopped 49 of the last 51 shots he has faced. He has earned a 2nd star in Game 5 and was 1st star in Game 6. One more performace like that by Hiller and we win.

All the pressure is on LA. They're scared as hell right now.
