— Calgary Puckers 2010 Summer Season —

Well, after a disappointing post-season (as always) we're on the brink of the Summer Season.

It seems they've placed us in Division 4. I worry we'll get crap stomped for 5-10 games before they move us down a division and then it'll be too late for us again.

Are we 2 divisions better than last season? Debatable.

Yeah we're still in the middle (Division 6 of 12 for winter, 4 of 8 for summer)...but hopefully we do alright. A bunch of different teams I think?

I play shinny with a bunch of guys from the Ninja Sloth, and they're right at our level. Also, I recognize some of those teams from the division that the Saints played in last winter before we got moved up to the Puckers division, and we should be right at their level, if not better.

Yeah sure, I just have to have it in by April 29th or 30th (can't remember which day).

We'll have 5 guys that can play D. Although, like Jayems said, I think Beuker wanted to play forward this summer.

Unfortunatley, I have to buy the last set available at Cal-crest as a spare set. After that we will have to have a minumum order of 6 jerseys. If you could rally 5 other CP'ers to order one, then you'd be good to go.

first game is 915 at Cardel on the 4th of may btw.

Also, the league sent out an email saying our first three games are up, but their link led to the winter schedule. So maybe they're still tweaking it, and that's why it's not up yet. But regardless, we should know when our first game is pretty quick here.

Also, just an FYI, the Saints are rolling right along in our playoff run. We play tomorrow in the North final. If we win that, then we start a best of 3 series against the South conference winner for the div E championship.

Hopefully we win tomorrow, if for no other reason than the fact that it'll keep us playing hockey right up until summer season starts.

Hmm, I went schedule-spring/summer2010-may, and it just says "there are no games scheduled".

Are you on www.hna.com, or that other homestead site?
