Default Valentine's Day Aftermath

What a fun long weekend!
Spent it in Banff with local friends and spent the 2nd half of it with just the fiancee. Best part about putting the time in planning it all is what she does after to thank you

So how was everyone else's Valentine's day?
what did you all do?

edit: btw, I ditched the original plans cause it was too boring

I bought myself some 4 packs of snickers and a 12 pack of coke and sat on my couch eating and watching sports on tv because Im single.

The aftermath is I had bad gas.

There was no Valentine's day in Vancouver - it was totally overrun by the Olympics and Chinese New Year. It's like Valentine's never even happened.

So, in a word, best Valentine's day ever!

Well my bowels got irritated after eating at taco time so I spent some quality time at the porcelain bank.

a simple dozen roses at a flower shop can set you back $80 and it gets even worse when you ask for bouquets or arrangements

I hate Flower shops

congrats, you've really said everything that ever needed to be said or needs to be said about Valentine's Day in one simple, short sentence.

Profundity is weird like that.

Had 3 teeth removed, two of them wisdom teeth. Spent my Valentines Day eating spoonfuls of yogurt and spitting blood.

Thanks for asking.

Trust me, girls love this day and they eat up anything special you do for them

I'm not suggesting going overboard with the spending, but even one or two simple things like a post it note cut out in a heart with a love message makes the day that much brighter for her

try it next year, or even this weekend. You'll be surprised what going out of your way for a couple minutes could do

I don't get what's with all the hate on this thread.

This Valentine's day we actually did a joint group thing and the guys just cooked a nice meal for the girls. It was pretty nice, nothing special but it was fun.

You really want to butter her up?

Try doing what you did this valentines on just a random day.

No doubt, heartless .

And how dare you openly mock Canada's starting goalie.

Hope it is all worth it, comrade.

I spent $95 on a flower arrangement for Valentine's Day. No complaints.

Things just go better if you show up with them than without them . . . . .

No, you're single. You've stated as much by using the word fiance.

Married men know that Valentine's Day is for people like you who think you have love all figured out.

Try doing it 365 days a year and not expecting anything in return and then come be critical of someone who is laughing at you for your 'expertise'.
