				 Google Streetview expands across Canada

Google launched it's streetview today outside of the 13 or so major Canadian cities. Check it out, there's quite a lot, especially in Alberta.
I know there's another Streetview thread, but thought that was Calgary specific.

Cool! How do you post the image on here? I found my hometown!
Haha, you can definitely tell which way the car was driving...there's a whole bunch of dead bugs on the front-facing cameras.

It's really incredible, some full streetview sections of gravel roads in the middle of nowhere.Example.
The probably isn't even 20 people that live within 10km of there.

Wow - this is unbelievable - I managed to find my brother's house in a town so small in Manitoba that it doesn't show up on google maps - I think it's population 50. But the google maps car drove down all two streets and took photos!
Wandered through my hometown in Manitoba as well (pop. 350) - checked to see if my dad's truck was at the local cafe, but he must have been working that day. I've been away too long to ID the cars on the main street, but I bet if I showed my parents the link they could tell me exactly who was in the cafe/bank/post office at that particular point in time.

Sigh, gotta love small towns. |

Cool! I found my cousin's house in Camrose.
Oh and tete, I'd agree with you one hundred percent. I know everyone's vehicle in those pictures haha. Too bad they didn't drive down the 6 roads Bawlf has.

And my house in a 5 year old neighbourhood in Chestermere isn't in streetview, and isn't even on google maps.
The school nearby which was built years later is there, drives right by it.. I can see the street you turn down to go to my house too, but they just ignored dozens and dozens of streets in my area.

Why do you hate Chestermere Google?

Edit: I now know what Hwy 35 through Keg River and High Level look like! lol

			So, weird question...
They forgot to blur out the license plate number on my buddies truck in Medicine Hat. They have some info on their site about reporting an error, but I can't get it to work.

Anyone know how to report this to Google?

Extremely disappointed that they didn't go through Dildo, NL.
They did find my street in Saint John, though. Kinda creepy.
