Seems like he's a bit of unreasonable guy in my opinion.

Seems like a jerk. I hate the saying "customer is always right", no one is always right. People throw that around like it's a free ticket to be an a-hole.
If the guy wasn't happy with 3-4 different pots of coffee, go get your coffee elsewhere. Obviously you don't like Tim's brew.

There's probably more to this story then the whiner's letting on.
I bet it was more then him reasonably complaining about the coffee and more about him being a disruptive jerk face.
Oh, and the customer is not always right.

Good on Timmys for supporting their staff, this guy was just going to keep complaining.
You don't like the coffee, take your business elsewhere.

Wow - he described it like pretty much every non-coffee drinker describes it. Perhaps it was his first cup?

Doesn't Timmy's coffee always taste like that? If he wanted coffee that tasted like coffee he shouldn't have gone to Tim Horton's in the first place.

Like Moths to a Flame. I don't understand the fascination with Tim Hortons.

The second anyone hauls out "the customer is always right" you know the customer is wrong.
Businesses do not have to serve you if they don't want to, and making sure the nation knows you a dick rather than a few employees at the local coffee shop sure was worth it, eh?

The thing they did wrong was put up with this guy in the first place. Who orders decaf coffee anyways? It's like making a habit of drinking non-alcoholic beer. There is no point.

I worked at timmy's in grade 10. You can't screw up making a coffee unless you screw up the order.
The guy is probably just ######ed. What does he expect for $1.40? You know you're a tool when 2 stores ban you for being an annoying prick.

I've had my orders messed up my Tim's many a time, I've complained via email and also to the managers and never been compensated.
Once I got a coffee with like 20 sugars in it, like I was gettin pranked. I threw it out at home, then they said since I threw it out I could be lying... wasnt worth taking further at the time

People like this are insecure.
They get a boost in self-esteem by complaining.
Its pathetic.

Seriously though. If you're not happy go somewhere else?
They are not entitled to compensate you. Best way to get back at them is stop giving them your business.

I'm not saying he's gay. I'm saying decaf coffee is like trying to play xbox while wearing oven mitts. Sure, you're doing it but what are you really getting out of it?
