To enter "GodMode," one need only create a new folder and then rename the folder to the following:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

By creating a new folder in Windows 7 and renaming it with a certain text string at the end, users are able to have a single place to do everything from changing the look of the mouse pointer to making a new hard-drive partition.

If you run Windows 7 Home, you can change group policy through this.

Just for kicks, I tested all of these.

Doesn't provide anything useful that I saw at a quick glance. Well nothing you can't already do with a shortcut, unless as Shazam mentioned your version of windows doesn't have that feature built in.

Let me know if anybody stumbles upon a mode that allows you to use "Windows Classic" start menu. I'm just setting up a new computer for my parents, and I know they don't handle change very well.

(And I played around with a couple of 3rd party apps that do it- none very well though.)

lol I tried on Vista 64 and it crashes windows explorer every time, I had to delete the folder in old DOS.
