Boxing Day Sales
Anyone know of any good ones? I need a 1080p LCD and wouldn't mind gettin a good deal on one. I also don't want to line-up at 3Am to get any free sh*t but a good $100-$200 off a TV would be nice.
Any ideas?

Check out the boxing day flyers at Future shop and Best Buy etc. I think they start tomorrow and if shopping on line, be prepared to move fast by creating an account now and picking out the LCD you want before hand.

I'm also looking for a a 40' 1080p HDTV although Im in different to Plasma or LCD but I'd prefer a Plasma.
I'm looking to get one for around $700 bucks which I know I can get either the Bravia or the Samsung equivalent for that already at Sears or The Source (Futureshop wants $1000!) so hopefully I can get it for even cheaper on Boxing Day.
Although I work until 2 so hopefully there's still stuff left

Quite surprised future shop has a 32" Bravia for $400. That's a hell of a deal. 720p, but at 32" that's fine.

I talked to a guy I know who works for Visions. The doorcrashers this year aren't going to be just crap that's either discontinued... or just plain old crap.
Otherwise, for the most part, like any other year... The prices that you see today are going to be basically the same as boxing day.
If you don't want to line up, you might as well go tonight.

Hmmm.. what about the Future Shop sale? I got my eye on this one: http://boxingday.redflagdeals.com/in...mage_full/629/
I do buy stuff online but for a TV I'd rather pick it up myself. The online sale starts tonight, but it doesn't specify if the store sale starts on the 26th.
I would definitely rather pick it up now then be a door crasher.

I'm buying a Kitchenaid stand mixer!
$179 at Futureshop or $200 at Canadian Tire. I really like baking, and that is an awesome price! It's for a 4.5 quart model, not 5, but the 325 watt motor is the same one in the Artisan line.

Oh, I also forgot... he did mention that they were going to price protect at Visions on Boxing Day... something they don't normally do. So if you head in there, ask about that as well.

10 minutes and counting in Future Shop's online checkout- I guess it's better than it crashing.
While I'm waiting, has anybody bought appliances there before? Do you recall how much they wanted for delivery?

I have to go straight to the Source and put an 40' Bravia on hold I think.

My past experience has taught me that only a fraction of the stock is available online. All stores want to see those lineups of people several hours before opening.

So my chances should be decent? I mean I guess I'll be there when the mall opens. And I'm indifferent to either the Bravia or the Samsung equivilent.
