Default Healthy / Organic Restaurants??

I’m looking to go out for dinner tomorrow night and the lady is on a health food kick, so am looking for somewhere to go.
So far I have found Farm, Crush and The Coup.
Are these places any good and will I need to book.
Any information about other restaurants would be great.
Thanks

I would be up for attempting the 8 Cheeseburger challenge but I doubt she would be up for it!!!!!!!!!

I'm a meat eater, and I've been to the coup, its not bad, my wife really enjoys it there, and if you get something like a stir fry or curry, you don't really realize the meat is missing until an hour after when you're hungry again.

Prices are comparable to a joey's tomato's / earls / moxies

nice ambience too

1 vote for coup.

Great thread - can't wait to see the replies as I'd like to try some of these as well.

There is a new veggie restaurant on 10th st in Kensington (west side of the street). I'll see if I can find the name for you. It looks nice.

Here it is (and others), Gratitude Cafe:

Actually, the reviews are not too positive (and quite entertaining).

There's a vegetarian chinese place on MacLeod, never been there myself though.

I went to The Coup and I really enjoyed it.

Buddha's Veggie Restaurant, just north of Chinook on the east side of Macleod. Quite yummy, though the veggie ginger beef many not entirely be "healthy".

I used to get dragged to the coup by an ex (vegan one day, arby's the next) and found it to be hit and miss. I'd recommend sticking to things that are more of a vegetarian take on something you'd normally like, there's certainly some menu items that are more of an acquired taste.
