I wonder how much lobbying was done by Belus and Rogers towards the CRTC with rumours of plans like $90 all-in from Wind Mobile.

I think it's time the CRTC just went away it is archaic and who is it protecting outside of the profit margins of the big 3????

I totally agree. That industry needs more competition- ultra Canadian or not!

Of course, the CRTC also does nice job of ensuring our TV often sucks too.

You either think CRTC Canadian ownership rules are correct or not.

Obviously this company wasnt financially Canadian controlled and thus didnt live up to CRTC rules.

If there was money to be made, another Canadian backed competitor would arrise.

In Canada we have 3 major players for 33mil people

In the US they have 304mil people - do they have 28 major players? - No, they have 10 max.

The facts are simple, low population density means we pay more for things that they dont in places where the population density is higher.
