Question for the web types - Reputation Management
Maybe no one cares but there are some savvy types on here who may have an opinion...
If you are a business you want to know where you are being mentioned, reviewed, what's being said etc.
I know a few companies working diligently on this and it's a logical extension of user generated content. I'm curious how some of the people who work with search engines and social media see this impacting their world.
Reporting on it has value, but Google or someone will eventually do that for free. You can't really game the results as with SEO (Or can you?).
Where's the opportunity? Where's the threat?
