I have been out of the country for a month and, as of right now, I'm going to say that my favourite restaurant is Tim Hortons.

Cilantro's.
Globefish is very overrated. Their rolls are so rich and overly North Americanized.

Sure, but there's really two kinds of sushi - very traditional Japanese (which really is mostly nigiri) or North American-Japanese elaborate rolls.
Globefish is very good at the latter. I like both.

While I do think Globefish tends to be a tad over-rated, I still think the quality of their fish is one of the best in Calgary.

Whenever I come back to Calgary I always head to Spolumbo's for a meatball sandwich. Might just be the best sandwich I have ever eaten. There are also a lot of decent Greek-style pizza places in the city. All the pizza here in the UK is thin-crust and not very interesting. The Elvis Platter at Big T's is something to behold as well.

So long as we're talking about the Marda Loop location, ever tried El's across the street? Now that is a much better selection of rolls and a much higher quality of fish in my opinion. Atmosphere sucks, but it blows Globefish out of the water in terms of food.
