Default Can't close a website

I have a website open and cannot close or minimize it. I use Internet Explorer 8.0. Control/alt/delete doesn't let me close this IE session. What do I do?

i have had that problem with IE8, one of the reasons I went back to 7. You have to end the process, there is probably a couple iexplorer processes running.

just turn off your computer...........hold the button down for 7-8 seconds.......everyone keeps telling me how bad that is for the computer but I've been doing it for years and my computer has always been of good health.

But how do I "end the process" without rebooting, which I don't want to do until the end of today?

Vanflamesfan: I don't think I have to do a hard reboot as the regular reboot should work, but have another few hours of work before I go home and don't want to reboot until then.

Lastly, no porn here. I don't do porn.

Three finger salute(ctrl-alt-delete keys), get into the task manager, and under the processes tab, end iexplore.exe

Bah beaten.
