Default Looking for a new headset. What do you recommend?

I am thinking of getting a new headset as right now I have headphones and a desktop mic. I was interested in the new Creative Fatal1ty headset because it is supposed to work well with Xi-Fi Titanium cards but it would have to be ordered from the states.

Looking at mem express I see a bunch but what do you use/recommend and why?

I use the following headset for Ventrilo while playing games:

I've been really happy with the quality so far, and the price is very reasonable. Your friends will be happy with the noise canceling of the microphone because nobody like bleeding ears from 2 or 3 people using computer speakers queueing their vent at the same time.

I used to use this. Downside is the headset wasn't very comfortable for me for long periods of playing time. Audio quality wasn't top notch either, but for $15 it's a nice price.

If you're looking at a headset, the Creative is a nice one from the reviews I looked at. The price point is fairly low, so I'd say give it a shot.

I have a set of Sennheiser PC350 and absolutely love them though. (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...10111936&catid=)

I would avoid Logitech headsets. It's too bad because the comfort and sound quality of them is great. The problem is that the USB plugs used in their headsets are very poor quality. I have had two of them fail on me in less than a year, and I took good care of them.

Whats your budget, because I'd recommend Sennheisers, the ones I have are about $200 and are worth every penny. Amazing sound and you can wear them forever without any discomfort.

Thanks for the input. Looks like I am going to go with the Sennheiser PC350. From what I heard here and the reviews online they seem to be pretty amazing.

Nicely done. My favorite headset I've ever used.
