Firefox - Anyway to get rid of the download box?
Because IE Pro doesnt work with IE 8 I have been forced to use Mozilla for my CP needs.
Because of the Funny Pictures thread I have been saving some of the best, but Mozilla for some reason has a stupid download box whenever I save a picture. Its annoying the frack out of me.
How do I eliminate the download box. HELP!

Didn't want to start a new thread
Ever since Firefox upgraded, I can't seem to automatically sign in to CP or Facebook anymore. I click the "remember me" button but that never works and every time I open firefox to go to those 2 sites, I have to sign in again. Minor annoyance really, but I would like to know why it's only firefox that's doing that
Thanks

Weird, maybe clear your cookies and all that stuff? I've never had that kind of thing happen.

In your options, you probably have FF set to not remember your history. Just set it back to "remember". It's not typically set to not remember by default though.

Could be one of 2 things.
In your options, under privacy, you might not have a check mark for accept cookies
or have clear browser history when Firefox closes checked.

Unfortunately, it's set to accept cookies and not to delete histories when I log off. I even have the privacy setting to "remember histories" but it switches back to custom mode.
Edit: I'm not the only one with this problem

Did you check your Exceptions - Saved Passwords list?
(Tools/Options/Security tab...)
I know I keep facebook and a couple of other sites in there to keep prying eyes away or in case my notebook is stolen.
