Score Tonight and Hardcore Hockey Talk cancelled >:(
http://torontosportsmedia.com/sports...-night-canada/
the Score is ######ed. I don't care much for HHT but Score Tonight was by far the best sports recap show in Canada. Tim and Sid were hilarious, had fantastic chemistry and actually knew their sports. This is equivalent to TSN cancelling Sportscentre.
I've already emailed the Score.

Sid and Tim were the ONLY reason I have ever even watched The Score.
Well, and when they have NBA basketball occasionally. But that's only for lack of a better option.

I honestly can't believe the Score is still around.
I remember when they were that awesome text only update channel. What the hell was it called back then?

thats soo stupid, they were always a good backup if nothing was on or sportcenter was stuck on an endless reel baseball/basketball. what are they replacing it with? more poker or wrestling or something?

What will become of Kouleas? Took me a long time to warm up to him, but he knows his hockey.

I agree that this is a stupid move. But I also have to admit that I stopped watching the Score when I got an HD TV. So, this won't impact me much.

Man, can't agree with you there. Between Kouleas and Mike Toth, I don't know which one is more annoying.

I don't have much use for The Score bout Kouleas talking about Theodore's stolen Hart trophy years later brings warm feelings to my heart.

I enjoyed the channel when you could always count on it to be showing highlights at almost any time.
Get home at 10:15, flip there and see what happened. But as soon as they started actually broadcasting shows and updates were limited to the ticker, they lost me.

Those guys + girl, suck. The score is still way better than Sportsnet who is just plain terrible, outside Flames games.
Hardcore Hockey Talk was entertaining and I liked Koulies.
But the best tandom at sports is Jay Onreit and Dan O'toole.

Doesn't help that it's not in HD. I've pretty much written the score off after I got an HD tuner which was 4 years ago....time to get with the double 0s boys.

Well, F-you Shaw, because I also have stopped watching the score due to Shaw's crappy SD feed of the station.
I also agree with the people who miss the Headline Sports Days. A 15 minute loop of highlights and updates as neccessary...it was like the Weather Network of Sports.

This news makes my day, other than Cabbie and that English soccer guy The Score is complete joke. Anyone who puts that hack Al Strachan on T.V. is someone that I won't watch (unless CBC is playing a Flames game) and how less we forget the "Pronger to LA" trade confirmed by what's his name on their hockey panel.
