Spybot S&D won't open

So I think I've got some nasty bug on my desktop. I tried opening S&D yesterday, and it wouldn't open.....I must have clicked on the shortcut 10 times and nothing.

So I restart, unplug the network cable and try again....and again nothing. So I uninstall and re-install it, and it's still giving me nothing!!

Any ideas?

type "msconfig" in the run menu and go to the Startup tab. If you find something suspicious, un-check it. If that doesn't do it, looks like you need an anti-virus.

Install Malwarebytes and update and boot into safe mode and scan with that.

If you can't even install malwarebytes, you'll have to try to download combofix.exe

Rename it to something else like "virusessuck.exe" and run it.
