Demigod is a PC game by Gas Powered Games (Dungeon Siege and Supreme Commander) and Stardock (Sins of a Solar Empire). The game most closely resemble the Warcraft III custom map Defense of The Ancients (DoTA) for anyone that might recognize that one.
Basically, the game plays like an RTS but the catch is that you only control a handful of units (usually one) in a fight against other demigods to capture points, beat each other up and ultimately destroy the other teams citadel (or other objective).
I've been playing the game with a small group of friends and it's pretty fun to play. The only hitch that has occured so far is a plague of network problems have rendered the multiplayer spotty at best. Even now, with all of the fixes that have gone through there are instances where people have trouble playing. For us, these issues have been almost completely resolved.
