Golden Tee 2005 Arcade game. Lets Try a Raffle!
Well I have decided to sell one of my Golden Tee machines so I can afford to fix the other ones and also my wife doesn't think it belongs in our livingroom. I am asking $800. I have recently installed a cap kit on the monitor and it looks like new now. All the coin slots work and it can be set on money or free play. Let me know if you have any questions.
Raffle Entrants: (2)

Is it the 2005 version, like the panel says?

Super cool! I may be interested, couple of questions, how hard/much is it to upgrade to the newest version?
If something goes wrong is their anyone in town that services these? Has parts if needed?
Does it have the hook ups to go online? What kind of high speed connection is required for it?
Allright i guess it was a few questions then....he he

It is the 2005 version. I also have the 2004 board set and marquee if you preferred that version I could easily swith it over. The picture of the screen is actually with the 2004 board installed which has now been taken out.

The 2009 unplugged version is around a $2000 US upgrade. It consists of a new digital monitor, full computer and jamma harness adapters etc. Doing the physical upgrade wouldn’t be too difficult it would just be the cost involved with getting the kit, shipping, duties, brokerage etc.
I can service it if anything goes wrong. I couldn’t find anyone locally to fix them so I have learned everything I needed to know and can help out with any repairs that come up. Usually it is just the trackballs or the glass that needs to be repaired/replaced. I also have extra hard drives and have parts on order to do a compact flash hard drive version to make it run almost silent inside. You can also get kits to turn it into a GT Complete (all 29 courses from the FORE series) for around $500 if you wanted more courses down the road.
The server for the 2005 and older versions has been shut down so these are offline only.
Let me know if you have any other questions or want to come play a few holes.

I'm still pondering........
I've always enjoyed the game, but didn't do it a whole lot because it got expensive. I do have a solid income tax refund coming.....

Wouldnt it be easier to just get her out of the living room? If I still lived in Calgary I would be on this in an instant

What we should do is this- a bunch of us pool our money and buy it together. Then we take turns for who gets to have it at their house- as soon as somebody's wife says "get this out of my house now" then it goes onto the next guy on the list.
Either that or we have some sort of lottery; $20 per ticket and only 40 tickets sold. Winner gets the machine.

PM replied. If things don't work out...
I would consider a raffle if there was enough interest in it. Say 16 people at $25 each and I will let one of the entrants draw the name from a hat. You can also buy more than 1 entry if you want to improve your odds.

To get 800 you would need 32 people at $25 though

32 people is right. Anyone else interested? I will post a few other places also but I think it will be hard to find that many people though.
