Cool? If Ridley Scott does it hopefully it won't be sappy like the Kevin Costner one. I do like the guy who's playing Sir Godfrey.

No, but he did fight a man with cancer. Imagine what he could do as Robin Hood!

Norm!
There was an article in the paper last weekend where they found journal entries that indicated that Robin Hood was not quite the hero that he's been portrayed as and that a lot of the ordinary peasants saw him as a common thief.

It says he's playing Robin Hood/Sheriff of Nottingham, I'm no Robin Hood expert but aren't these guy the stories main protagonist and antagonist?

Am I the only one that liked the Costner one?? I thought it had some solid action in it, wasn't expecting much more.......I recently watched it for the first time in literally 10 years and I still enjoyed it as much as I did when I was a kid.

Yeah, that was a great movie. For some reason, I always remember them walking on the stone wall at the beginning. Then it gets a little hazy, but I do remember liking the movie. Maybe it's time I revisited it.

Has anyone watched the current BBC version of Robin Hood? I've heard good things about it but I've never seen it listed on any stations that I get.
I tend not to like Crowe when he plays this sort of roll, but I've ranted about that on here before, so, uh, carry on.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but I think Crowe will literally be playing both roles.
