Default iTunes Application Sharing

Is there any way to share paid applications between 2 members of the same household with different computers? Or is the same computer needed to access the apps? Thanks.

Let me preface this by saying that I have never downloaded an app from itunes, and am not sure if they are linked to accounts like music, videos and movies are. If the are, then what I am about to say is probably true.

You can have up to 5 computers on the same itunes account.

If one or both of you have no purchased music, then you can just both use the same account (the one with the purchased music).

If both have purchased music, either one person would need to switch accounts to use the application, or one person would need to convert all their music to a non DRM version. I am am not sure if itunes plus would be enough because I think it is still linked to account, but there used to be other ways around DRM that you can find if you look online.

Ya just plug the iphone/touch into the computer with the app on it and authorize it on that computer. If you are signed into itunes with the account that bought the app, it'll make that account active on the plugged-in device once it syncs. You should be able to just drag the app onto the device in itunes, or you can just unplug it and go to the app store and re-download it. It will give you a notice that you've already payed for it and to hit "yes" if you'd like to download it again. You will not be charged for this download. The app will not be removed from the device once it is synced with another computer as long as you are manually managing what goes on it. That may be confusing ... I can clarify if you need.

My wife and I share apps all the time this way.
