In-ear Headphones?
Hi,
So i'm on the market for some In-ear headphones, preferably with good noise-cancelling/isolating. Price range: <$100 (a little over is okay)
I prefer some good bass, but I'm not really too sure what is out there. I was looking around, and so if anyone has any suggestions please shout them out!
My friend said for ~$20-30 I can get these Creative EP-630 which is supposedly a bargain... but I know nothing about head phones.
Thanks!

Yeah I have the Smokin Buds and they are ok, the bass isn't very good. They were a gift. A buddy of mine has the Titans and the difference is really obvious. Might have to splurge one day and just get the good ones.

How is the noise-isolation on them? I like to use them as ear plugs sometimes when I'm studying at the library because I'm extremely noise-sensitive.

I use the following headphones:
http://www.v-moda.com/collection/modaphones/vibe.aspx
They have amazing sound, especially on the highs and bass. At the same time, they are very comfortable. It doesn't feel like I have anything in my ears. They come with the various sized buds.
They sell v-moda at London Drugs. There are also less expensive models.

I have the creative ear phones. I'm not sure I can judge the sound quality but I travel a lot and they work great on the plane. If I have even soft music playing while I work I don't hear a thing.
$20 or less from dell online. (sadly, I seem to lose them a lot)

Bose in ear headphones. They are usually around $130, but sometimes on sale for around $100.
By far the best in ear headphones I've every used. Amazing sound, great bass, extremely comfortable and isolate noise very well. I've tried Shures, JLs, and Sennheisers in that price range and found Bose were by far the best.
I wouldn't even think about changing to anything else unless I was trying to save $$.

I can't seem to stand in-ear headphones.. and I can't find anything that would be an upgrade over the Apple in-ear buds that have the microphone on them
I'm stuck in headphone wasteland.

Wow! Those look pretty cool.
May have to get some for myself.
Btw how does one determine what size buds they need.

I must have tiny ear holes, because none of the standard ear buds will fit in my ears. Consequently, I have been using these for 3 years.

Fantastic sound. The only complaint I have about them is that the wires seem to be a little less sturdy than I'd like. However, I've been pretty rough on them.
I'd love to try the Bose, but I doubt I can get them in my ear.

Try them on The buds will come with about 3 sizes, so you just try them all and use the ones that fit best.

Picked these up for 50% off a few weeks ago, worth $70, definately not worth $140! The poorly constructed battery case is already broken.

here you go
great sound quality, better than any in ear headphone i've tried, and the price is perfect. they're also extremely light so they don't hurt your ears after awhile. the reviews almost all state that they're definitely the best bang for the buck out there, comparing them favorably to $100 headphones

I was going to try those v-moda ones but the metal scares me a bit, sometimes I wrap my headphones around my iPhone and put it in my pocked, those would probably scratch it all up. Otherwise I agree they do look cool.

I had issues with in-ear sizes until the Bose myself. They don't plug your ear like all of the others, they just rest in your ear with a small part that extends into the canal without plugging it.
Far more comfortable IMO, you should give them a try from a store with an easy return policy like FS/Best Buy.

They are outstanding. I worked in electronics while I was in school, so I had the chance to try a bunch of different ones. I have very small ears and the smallest buds of the modas are snug enough so I can work out with them. They never fall out and they don't hurt, because they are silicone bud. Good luck

Thanks! Yeah Sennheiser has a set like that too, only problem is they don't have the microphone for calls (plus they're big).
I might have to pop for something like this.

Not sure if this will sway your decision, but the moda's come with a little bar you can wrap your headphone cord around. It looks like a little boomerang.
