Good action so far, Alberta with Martin is doing good, as is Ontario with Glen Howard.

Anyone going? I am thinking I will go Wednesday night and Thursday morning before school. Maybe more.

To me its a fairly predictable week. I think it will be a Martin and Glen Howard final.

I have tickets for Tuesday night, should be a good time going with a couple friends from up north, never been to a curling thing before and don't know a hell of a lot about it but I think it'll be pretty sweet!

Has anyone gone for a full day before? I might have Wednesday off from school and might go all day. Was wondering, can you just stay there, or do you have to exit and go back in?

^ Stay there and hit the Brier Patch between draws...that is definitely the way to do it! (Book Thursday off to let things get out of hand there).

I had tickets all weekend and will almost surely go back next weekend for some time.

Going tomorrow, also went the last time the Brier was in town and it's always a good time. Martin's team is a machine.

I think Martin's team repeats as champs, although there are a couple teams that will definitely challenge them.

Dunno, remember watching a game on TV, I believe it was the Territories/Nova Scotia and it seriously looked like a battle of who was trying to lose. If either of those teams play like that against Martin it's going to be a very very short game.

I went last night and it was a really good time, Alberta destroyed Saskatchewan and all the fans in green were quite upset! I have never seen anyone play as conservatively as B.C. did last night, he made one great shot in the entire game, and then spent the rest of the time just trying not to get blown out. Strange.

My only complaint is that they have switched out the regular heroin beer for Keiths...

Oh my goodness.

Glenn Howard, down two with the hammer coming home against Saskatchewan, and he makes what may be the best curling shot I've ever seen to score 3 and win the game.

The end was really set up in Saskatchewan's favour. It appeared almost impossible to score 2 for the tie, let alone 3 for the win.

What a shot.

That was an amazing shot. As I sat here I told my gf that they are guarding the wrong rock but I really didn't think that he could make it. A great shot. A Martin-Howard final would be great.

anyone else tried the hotshots curling game? its at www.hotshots.curling.ca and while you have to give some info to Ford its pretty entertaining! I guess it would be very cool if you win the car!

one of the best of all time, that was unreal, especially given the situation.

Amazing high to low for the jordison rink. tough one to swallow but when a guy makes a shot like that you gotta tip your cap and get the hell outta there.

unreal.

Amazing shot, I'll be trying to make it down Friday night to watch Alberta/Ontario. Hopefully they play in the final, too. This will go a long way in deciding who represents us in the Olympics.
