Flames look to win another one at home before hitting the road for Sunday.

best game since the flames came right there!

the highlight??? matt pelech opening the scoring with a penalty shot goal! he came in on a breakaway and was tripped from behind. i know there was a question about his fleet footedness in another thread. but i think he showed tonight he can turn on the wheels when he needs to!

It was a great game, but a less than stellar home debut for Kevin Lalande in my opinion. If the game had been close, he could have been the deciding factor with that puck he left uncovered and was swept into the net. Did he really think he could put a leg next to the puck and the ref would blow the whistle?

I've always though Pelech was a pretty good skater for a guy his size - but he footwork needed work - less about skating and more about overall agility and ability to pivot quickly and what not.

What an absolutely fun game from beginning to end!!!

It was nice to be able to come to a game and pretty much smile through the whole thing....after we got over the shock of 3 goals in 47 seconds....

Keep it up, boys, and the bandwagon crowds will come!!!!

I just wish Kyle Turris had thicker skin... apperently he doesnt like being called a bust or telling him that the yotes want the 3rd pick back... some higher up in the sa org and him complained to the rink officials and almost had me thrown out.
