Dear Officer: Suck It
So about 12 years ago (I was 13 at the time) I'm riding my bike through our little town along with a couple of my friends. A police cruiser cuts us off and a frantic cop has us all line up against a fence. He pulls us all into his cruiser individually and proceeds to scream and swear at us about a robbery at a 7-11 that he "saw us do" the night before.
I'm not sure what you were doing at 13, but my buddies and I were hanging out in my parents backyard having a hot dog roast on the night in question. You have to know what kind of a kid I was to really understand the gravity of the situation for me. I was terrified of getting in trouble when I was young. I'm not sure what my parents did to raise me this way, but I was just about the most obedient person ever. If an adult so much as raised his or her voice to me was enough to freak me right out. You can imagine what getting hauled into a cop car and having a police officer scream and swear at you (If I recall I was a "f****** liar" and full of "f****** bull****"). Pretty much the scariest moment of my childhood.
Later we would find out that his description of the robbers was "kids on bikes". Since we were on bikes and we were kids and it had only been about 20 hours since the robbery, I suppose he had enough evidence enough to detain us.
So what ever happened to this ######? Well kids, that officer would grow up to be Mr. Hoa La.

I find it hilarious that in the article there's actually a comparison of what he did to stealing from a 7-11.
Hey Hoa La! 12 years I've been waiting for you to suck it, so if you would please ... suck it long and suck it hard.

Is that some sort of new slang for impregnating a 15 year old British girl?

Just to be clear, you didn't rob the 7-11?
We can pull the surveillence tapes you know...
So you deny robbing the 7-11 but admit to having a hot dog roast with yer male friends?

This a great story. Speaking as a lawyer, I would say a good half of Grade A a-holes go on to become lawyers, and the half who aren't as smart go on to become cops.

I'm amazed that you remembered the guys name. I mean, I'm only guessing at your age, but it's not like it happened yesterday.
I was totally like you at that age. While others at age 13 were having babies with 16 year olds, I was playing Nintendo in the basement, or building forts.

I'm not surprised in the least. Sounds like it was absolutely terrifying, and those moments aren't forgotten easily.

Yes, I am innocent on the charge of robbing a 7-11. I did rip open the plastic containing a video game magazine once to obtain a mortal kombat code, but that was in a Mac's.
I suppose "hot dog roast" is a touch gay ... let's just say I was in the midst of a raging sausage party.

Oh I'll never forget that name. It helped that anytime over the last 12 years when my friends and I are notified of an act of police overstepping their bounds we mutter to ourselves "f****** Hoa La".

Damn lol, thats an awesome story.
At first I thought it was about the Trooper in the US who pulled over a pornstar and it ended up being a 'suck it' situation with photos on her website the next day.
