Heads up those looking for tickets to Montreal 02.09.09

According to the list I got from Sportcheck in Westbrook 600 tickets for the Montreal game will be going on sale tomorrow morning at each location across Calgary.

I'm not sure what time, but maybe someone who does can post it here.

Wanted to let people know so CPers can beat all the scalpers to the front of the line.

I really wish that Sportchek would adhere to the 4 max rule for each person, I was in line like the 20th person (I know I wouldn't of gotten the tix myself anyway), but after the 6th person they were out...and I saw this one guy in a suit who apparently knew the cashier walk out with like at least 10 tix, such bs...

I went to Westbrook, was like 9th in line and my roommate in front of my got the last 3 tickets. They only had 46 for the store.

I don't know about people buying more than 4, but I do know the security guard who showed up to sit on a chair and watch us got 1st in line.

Anyone know how these tickets end up on craigslist before they are on sale to the public?

Yeah, the employees get first crack at these tix before they're released to the general public...

Not now they don't. There was big kerfuffle about this a few years back during the playoffs when the general public found out. Staff had to give back the ticket which were then sold to the public.

Oh well, I just assumed with the shenanigans I saw when I went for Montreal tix (ppl gettin way more than 4 tix), that this still happened, if not then mb those ppl were gettin extra tix for staff who knows, but it was def. a gong show.
