Default EA Music and submitting tracks to them??

I have a friend who just cut his first CD. He has been working on it for 2 years and has 25 cuts. Pretty impressive for a first album.
It is a Rap album but there are some tracks that are very easy to listen to even if you dont prefer Rap.

Anyway, the point is, he would love to submit some tracks to EA to see if they wouold want to use any. It would be great exposure for him.

Anyone know who or where something can be sent or where to contact these guys. I have heard that they deal with the Music for each game from the L.A. Office of EA, not actually in Vancouver.

Any help would be great.

Thanks.

Samples? MySpace?

Before you assault EA, you should let some people judge the merits of the music

Not to sound unappreciative, but are you in the music industry? If youre just some guy on the street who hates Rap, maybe you arent the best judge and could possibly influence someone else.

Anyway, here is his my space link. http://www.myspace.com/ipbnw

As for the assaulting EA, thats up to him, im just trying to help a friend out.

This guy has done shows with Kareem Blake AKA Choclair and is well respected amongst the Hip-hop community. Im not the biggest fan of Rap/Hip-hop, but I was pretty damn impressed with his tracks.

i would suggest to send an email or send a copy of his cd or a couple tracks (or cuts whatever you call them) to EA. Whats the worst that could happen they say no? I'm sure there is something on the main electronic arts website or EA sports website.

Why would you assume I hate rap (other than i don't capitalize it)?

Rock n roll people can like other music you know, just because I'm not rollin' 22s while pumping 808s thru my double-12s don't mean im not down.

Thats why I laughed.. You made a good point about having other listen first and he assumed you hated rap.

Just got home and gave it a listen.

His beats are pretty goddamn awesome, and his flow is solid.

Colour me impressed, hope you have luck getting through to EA.

Ya I was pretty shocked how smooth it was. He mixed it himself. Decent stuff.

I actually really like his beats and his flow is pretty good. Not a huge fan of the sound of his voice. What tracks were you thinking could be on an E.A soundtrack?

^^ I have no idea what he would submit. The thing I found is that I start to think this song or that song could be submitted, then suddenly theres a whole bunch of vulgarity(<- is that even a word?).

Well if he has all the original master tracks for his songs (and I would assume he does, being the producer), he can easily re-mix the tracks with swears omitted, like most radio rap.

It's a little time consuming, and they would have to be re-mastered as well, but I'm sure it can be done.
