Honda pulls out of Formula 1

A bit of a shocker but not totally. I wonder if anyone else is considering it and will Honda's decision affect their program in the IRL.

I'm thinking if the IRL plays their cards right they could move backup into the sports consciousness of North American fans. Their economic model seems viable and if they can gradually build the Indy 500 back to preeminence they could join NASCAR on the way up the sports ladder.
