Default Debit-At-The-Door Much?

I like debit cards. Spending money I have is much more awesomer than spending money I don't have...

Anyone know any really good restaurants that have "debit-at-the-door" for their delivery drivers?

Only one I know of right now is Panago, and I'm getting tired of their menu. I wish Swiss Chalet had it, bastids always forcing me to use my credit card!

I walk around with a bank machine strapped to my back at all times in case of just such an emergency. One day, I'll even be able to afford a beast of burden.

And no. No I dont. Sorry.

I am suprised more places don't have this. However my friend who owns a pizza place out here in Victoria uses them and I guess they are $500/machine plus $60-80/month for the service, so I guess this is why more wouldn't carry it.

Oh....an no I have no idea.

I know some companies offer a service where you give them your debit card and PIN and they drive back to their store, ring the transaction through and then drive the card back to you.

Dont you find the quality of ingredients have dipped in the last year or so? I used to eat there religiously until they started cutting corners.

They're expensive to rent and maintain.

Doesn't waiters en route do debit at the door?

Nothing I have noticed. I usually just stick with the basics like Peperoni, or Hawaiian though. I don't get anything to complex so I can't comment on other flavours. My Wife gets some greek one with Feta, Spinach, Olives etc and she seems to enjoy it.

I have a bunch of our neighbours turned on to it as well and they seem to be big fans of it as well.

Which location are you ordering from?

The best Pizza is the Chicago Deep Dish (403 503 0808) pizza that's near my place. Most of the time I order it when my buddies and I come back to my place after a night of heavy drinking. This happens often enough that whenever I call, the pizza guy says in his very thick foreign accent: "You are very very good customa!"

OK now I have to try these guys out. Will they deliver to Penbrooke?

Also, what are their wings like? I see they have Salt n Pepper (my favourite type).

They deliver late and they're good sports about bringing food to drunk people.

I don't know how many locations they have and where they all are so I'm not sure if they will go to Penbrooke or not.

I always order from the Cranston location. Wings are dynamite as well. They have some kind of Greek flavoured wing that is one of the best flavours I have ever eaten in my life.

They are worth going to pick the pizza up, although that completely defeats the original purpose of this thread.

You'd have to google some locations. I dont think the Cranston guys will go that far. There should be a couple in town. If not they'd be a good franchise to open.

Dammit, now I'm really intrigued...

I just called the Harvest Hills location, and he said if it was an hour earlier or around 9PM he'd deliver it to me, but he's too busy right now. Perfectly understandable.

Cranston is about 3 times farther and Elbow is down by my office. About as far away as Harvest Hills.

I'm close to actually getting in the car and driving there now.
