I dont understand why they loaned him. I'm guessing that they (sutter) and company see more in Armstrong than Frenchy. I know he was scratched last night and I didnt see him around the arena.

Hugo Carpentier has been re-assigned to the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL. Last year in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, he recorded 65 points (27 goals and 38 assists) in 69 games.

Hopefully he gets top line minutes, Adam Cracknell turned things around down there last season.

Jonathan Tremblay to Providence, strange move, Quad City isn't even using all 4-5 ECHL roster positions this season, are they?

The only players I can think of is JD and Frenchy down in vegas. Makes me think that they are trying to dump contract money.

Those are the only 2 players we have from Calgary/QC and to tell you the truth, we don't have any empty space on the roster. I am thinking that Calgary told them not many players were coming, so we signed a few extra for us, and now they are playing well as a team, they don't want to mess with it.
