Default The Hammer is back....

Jonathon Tremblay recalled today from Wichita...

Sure sounds like somebody must be going north....or else they're pulling out all the stops for Friday night!!

Maybe McGill is getting as tired as I am of being pushed around.

Super-goon indeed. He is, in my opinion, the toughest fighter I've seen in person - and I've seen some minor league legends. The Hammer was king of the Q during his junior years, reportedly going over 2 years without a loss. His left hand, when landing flush, is quite possibly the hardest punch in hockey.

maybe he can bring a little excitement to the games.

i didn't think he looked too bad in his first stint with the team. if i had one complaint, it would be that he often seemed to telegraph when he was going for a good hit. the player would usually be out of the way 2 or 3 seconds before he got there.

but maybe he can rile some people up. the team has played with little enthusiasm at home since the first game or two. the fans have pretty much given up on the team, so i hope this can excite them.

We should be careful the Oilers might have an eye on him. From what I remember back in camp he isn't the best skater.

He's actually been working on his skating since he was with the Mallards a couple of years ago.

When they introduced the players this season on opening night, Hammer by far got the biggest ovation. He's worth the price of admission....

Anyone know whether Brad Brown is in town or not??

With Brown and Hammer in the lineup, and two of Peoria's top guys called up to the Blues, Friday could be an interesting night!

Quote:
Aces captain Scott Burt sat out as a precaution after taking an elbow to the head from Falcons defenseman Brad Brown on Friday. Brown received a five-minute major.
