do you guys all use google to read the feeds?
i started using outlook 07 as it then looks like i am just reading emails if someone comes into the office!
i have several dump into outlook. 3 local newspapers, a couple blogs, comments from the fatas site, the local hockey articles from the newspapers and a couple general hockey ones. i would link to them, but i am lazy!

for me, it saves me from having to go to 15 different sites to see whats new. instead of having to load tons of pages with graphics and ads, i can just have the stories come to me. then if something looks interesting, i can click on it. some sites do send the whole thing which saves on page loading. its also nice as most at least provide intros, so i can get a better idea of how worthy the story is.
also for work, now that i have them in outlook, it is much less conspicuous.
also, i have some of my feeds that come to my BB through viigo. that is really nice to be able to have quick articles to read while in a boring meeting or other times. i can easily read things without having to browse the whole net. because even with opera mini, it takes like 10 times longer.

I am really into technology, so Engadget and Gizmodo are favourites of mine. I like RSS feeds because I don't have to scroll through pages of articles that don't interest me.

Feeds are much more convenient on my Blackberry than using the browser.

I use netvibes.com, and I set up 5 tabs for different types of feeds - General, Tech, Hockey, NFL, Webcomics.

It's just like creating a webspace that get automatically populated with only the news you want to read. Instead of traveling around the tubes you have one area where all the content of your favorite sites gets dumped.
I really like Free RSS Reader for the iphone. It isn't perfect but it sure lets me read a whole lot more news during my morning commute. Plus it automatically finds the rss feeds for you when you visit a page ... super handy

I use Google, I like the interface and the searching, the iPhone interface works for me, and it allows me to always have my read/unread/starred stuff the same no matter what platform I'm on.
RSS feeds feed the ADD, don't have to check the website for updates, it tells you when it updates.
VERY useful for sites that don't update frequently but are quite important. Some services have RSS feeds for their status for example. Or webcomics that only update every so often.
Really very useful, I marvel that I didn't use them for longer.

I use Google Reader and subscribe to over 300 feeds. Most of them are related to the law and would be of little interest to most of CP. However, I find it a great way to stay on top of various legal bloggers around the world and stay in touch when new court decisions are released.
I also subscribe to a bunch of comics that I read every morning over coffee. Nice start to the day.
Here are a few feeds that may be interesting to you:
Lifehacker
The Dilbert Blog
Teds Take
SportsbyBrooks
Boing Boing
Robert X Cringley
