Seriously? I think they're a bunch of jackasses. Last thing I need to hear when I'm driving is a loud "thunk" on the passenger side and it doesn't matter if it's in light traffic or not. It distracts the driver.
Serious lapse in judgement on Chucko and Germyn's part to agree to this stunt. Third graders know better than to throw snowballs at passing cars. This is basically the same thing.
actually i am fairly sure they only fired at cars that wanted them to. notice the cars would flash their lights and honk to get attention. i can only assume that they were broadcasting as they did this and were telling listeners to honk if they wanted it. ]
was it safe? not really. was it dumb and silly? of course. but its just a stupid radio prank. no need to overreact.

Absolutely. What would have happened if one of the tshirts had hit a driver? I'm sure the gag would have been worth having someone die in a traffic accident
I hate radio guys and their lame gags, but Reg, easy does it. It's obvious the drivers were listeners who gave the okay for a shirt as they passed by. Silly, but nothing major at all.

Think so? Didn't look that way in the video. Looked like they were firing them at random cars.
I saw one passenger with a rolled down window. Even if it were the case that it was set up, that's still stunting.
I listened to this entire segment while I was on my way to work. They were broadcasting the entire time....They wanted to have the guys test out the new t-shirt cannon they had made. They had people call in and tell them where they were on Brady St. and tell them what they were driving. They also had them flash the headlights and honk so the guys made sure they were shooting the shirts at the correct cars. A listener actually called in and said that the cops were on the way....he heard it over his scanner. When the police showed up he shut it down and that was it. Someone from the flames must have been listening as well cause the one DJ said that Chucko had gotten a phone call and when he got off the phone he told Germyn that they had to leave. That was the end of it all. When they came back from the commercial break Chucko and Germyn had left.

though if we are going to debate the difficulties of specific driving locations, that traffic didn't seem at all heavy.
there's tons of distractions on the road, if someone wants to roll their window down and see if a shirt flies in, its dumb, but not the end of the world. its not different than checking out an attractive person on the sidewalk, talking on your phone, eating a burger, or anything else dumb that people do while driving.

Take a deep breath fellas. it was suppose to be funny not incite an arguement and talking how bad so on a so forth.
The speed limit is pretty slow and traffic wasnt all that bad. But it was pretty stupid and dangerous. Most people knew what was going on when they were honking their horns and flashing the lights.
Oh well its over now lucky no one is hurt it was all for fun.

Have you ever driven on Brady Street, during morning rush hour, dobbles?
Not only have I not driven on Brady Street during rush hour, but I've never driven on that street ever! Whenever that was filmed though, the traffic was really light.
Who's overreacting? It was a jackass stunt. It's perfectly reasonable to call people partaking in a jackass stunt "jackasses," which is what I did.
Neither do I think traffic safety to be a contentious issue. Most reasonable folks would agree that curtailing jackassery on public streets is a good thing.
