Default Any good Xbox party games?

And no, I'm not looking at the music games

When a bunch of friends and I have an Xbox, I'm always finding it hard to get everyone interested. Anyone have any great ideas? Like a fun shooter, fighting, trivia or racing game for 4?

I currently have:
  • COD 4 - The guys like this, but with a wide range of skills, it can become quite one sided. I even play them pistol only aiming at kneecaps
  • Burnout Revenge - Guys and gals seem to like this, but it's only two player. And if you do crash party, it takes forever load/get a turn.
Or am I destined to buy a Wii?

scene it (a 4 player movie trivia game) is good but expect a lot of repeat questions popping up...I actually sit out when it's being played since I've seen most of them. I think there's a new version of it coming out that uses wii like avatars. There's lots of good 4 player live arcade games like castle crashers which just came out. And there's also sports games like nhl08/09.

Scene It and Rock Band were going to be my two suggestions as well. The latter is so good that people organize entire parties around it.

If you do opt for Rock Band, you might want to wait a few months and pick up the Rock Band 2 bundle. Supposedly the fake plastic instruments are much improved.

Thanks for the help. Scene it looks OK, but the those remotes you have to use could be annoying. I think I'll wait for the new version to come out with D/L content.

And I don't like Rockband or Guitar Hero, so my choices are limited.

You can use the controllers if you want. I find that for people that don't play games the remotes work better. The answers to the questions are in a top to bottom order and that's how the remote layout is. Basically they don't have to keep looking down at the controller and memorize the button placement.

You could turn Call of Duty 4 into a party game.

Tiger Woods 09 is a fun game if you enjoy golf.

Is this original Xbox? If so, get a soft mod and some emulator disks, you can do it for less than 40 dollars.

I have one dvd containing about 50 N64 games, and another with every single snes, nes, genesis, and atari game ever made.

Fun party games:
Mario Kart
Micro Machines Racing
Super Mario Whatever
Mario Party
Random SNES arcade style shooters.

If we're talking original X-Box, the conversation begins and ends with Fusion Frenzy. Many a night has been spent drinking and playing that game.

I bought/downloaded Bomberman from the live market place; that's a very simple yet addictingly fun game that everyone seems to enjoy, and it's four players simultaneous.
