I've been going through http://www.whirled.com/#world-game_l_827
(java), although it can get pretty slow depending on your system

Not sure how addicting it can be, once you've finished all the levels. Neat game though.

Great game. If you liked this try The Incredible Machine series. I remember play it for hours and hours as a kid. It's basically the same thing. You build contraptions to reach a certain goal. But the goals are different each level. They give you a bigger variety of building blocks too.

You can probably find some copies around on the internet as it's such an old game.

I built the most ridiculous machine for that, and then after when I looked at other people's, it was super, super simple.

They added Level 21, but it's pretty easy ( look around / zoom out if you're having trouble).

I'm embarassed to say, but I was stumped on the Stairs level for a long time. Those frickin little balls... It looked so easy at first and I breezed through the previous 11 levels.
Anyway, here is how I did it:

Looking at other people's designs, there are some pretty smart people...

Nice.
I gave up during 'back and forth'. So I ended up looking at correct contraptions and that gave it away for me for the last couple of levels. I never thought to use the brown sticks for anything other than to hold the balls.
