Recommend me Xbox360 Platformer Game
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platform_game
"Platform game, or platformer, is a video game genre characterized by jumping to and from suspended platforms or over obstacles. It must be possible to control these jumps and to fall from platforms or miss jumps."
The wife loved Psychonauts and really likes the 'lego star wars/indiana jones' type games, but I don't know what else to grab for her.
I did this exact same thread for PC games and got one or two really good suggestions out of it so if you guys can suggest some games like Psychonauts for the 360 I'd really appreciate it.

Yeah, there's not too many for the 360. Maybe try some of the Xbox live ones; looks like there's a few decently reviewed ones there. This new "Braid" game received a 9.5 on Gamespot

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it for her.
I'm a little surprised there aren't many for the 360... I mean it's not as big as the FPS/RTS/RPG genres but there's still a market for them... isn't there?

kameo is the only other one i can think of. it's old (launch title) and pretty average, but you can find it for $7-10 at blockbuster, so can't be that bad for the price.
Banjo and Kazooie 3 is coming out soon, if you liked the banjo series from the n64

Screw platform games, get Gears of War.
Play against her and chainsaw her in the back, nothing says love like a chainsaw to the back.
Or spend some quality time talking about life while playing coop mode. It will show you really love her when she keeps getting killed and you have to keep reviving her.
Yah yah I know, real informative and on point

bionic commando is being redone and coming back out for the 360 pretty soon. I think that would count as a platform game. Those that might remember the game back on the old nintendo might remember the original kicking some serious arse.

"Hey babe, stop shooting at the ceiling, ok now stop shooting at the floor... nope you're staring at the ceiling again... Oh you're stuck in a corner, no just follow me, yeah I'm right here... nope right here. Ok you see the guy moving back and forth right there? Yeah that's me, nope you're staring at the ceiling again.... oh you're stuck under those stairs."
I would rather watch paint dry than try that again.
Bionic Commando kicked ass, hopefully that's more her speed.
They really need to come out with a Psychonauts 2... probably one of the better platform games I've played.

Get Kameo, that game is far better than "average". For $5-10 it is a smoking deal and the game is quite fun. Also, Banjo 3 which comes out in 3-4 months won't be platform. Rare can say what they like, but if over 70% of the game involves being in a vehicle than it is not a true platform game. PS3 on the other hand has Ratchet and Clank, and the new one which is coming out, but you don't have a PS3 so you can't play that incredible game.

Right now it comes in only The Orange Box, but a standalone XBLA version is coming out soon.
And remember, the cake is a lie.
