Default Mc'ing a wedding this weekend

Need some ideas for games and such. Gotta keep it clean since the bride and groom's parents aren't the sort to appreciate raunchy games.

Got any suggestions?

one I liked was where the MC put the Bride and Groom back to back and gave each two cards to hold up. People then submitted questions. In order for the Bride and Groom to kiss, they each had to come up with the same answer for the question.

Grandparents will ask questions like:
what was the Bride's favorite animal growing up: A) Horse, B) Scorpion
and of course they will get it right.

Friends will ask questions like:

Is the Best Man wearing any underwear?

That way funny people in the crowd can get involved without having to go up to the Microphone.

A few gems I heard over the past two weddings I went to over the past two weekends

"(Bride's name) some things never change even after all these years. (Insert her age) years ago your parents took you home from the hospital with love in their eyes and put you to bed with a dummy . . . and here we are today it's like deja-vu all over again"

"Through the course of your marriage you'll have lots of ups and downs . . . between the bed sheets"

"I knew (groom) back in high school, he used to work at McDonalds in the drive-thru . . . taking orders

Then he went to worked at a call centre, where it was his job to sit there, having people call him . . . taking orders

Then he enlisted in the military, did their education, through serving at the base, and chain of command and all that, for the past five years it's been his job to help keep the peace . . . taking orders

Then after all these years, since he was in high school, taking orders, when he felt he had enough training, when he felt he was good and ready . . . then he proposed to (the bride)"

"Attention (father of the bride) I just received a message for you from Steve down at the bank, he said your reverse mortgage has gone through so you don't have to worry about paying for the wedding!"

One thing I found is that find something about the couple and exploit that... I MC'd a wedding where we found out the couple both liked to watch those Dance Reality shows so we had them do a Dance off for everyone.

I've MCed multiple weddings and one of the best thigns I have done is went to Black and Lee's and got the MC book they have there. Obvious every wedding will be different and have a different atmosphere but the book covers all the basics and there really is specific directions on how a reception should flow, so I would go buy that book.

I like this idea. It can be like a game where the table groups try to catch the ferrets. Then, we can prepare them for hotpot. Extra points go to the group that captures the golden ferret.
