Well this type of violent behavior is not an "Indian" thing, they could of been of any color or nationality.

But i will offer to pick you up at the airport and help you hunt them down.

Sorry to hear that West Karma.

It's a sad day when a bunch of indians pick on a defeneceless 65 year old man. Cowards if you ask me.

Does your dad remember any details of his attackers? Had he seen them before? Does he live in an urban area, or somewhere more isolated?

Pretty infuriating - hopefully your dad's alright - but both the police and any prospective posse is going to need more to go on than what it seems you've got.

The racist card is exempt here. That sort of business should not be tolerated by Indians, or anyone. I don't care what their beef is, these guys need to caught and punished severely.

My sympathies to your father. Similar thing happened to me last year, except it was just one guy and he just punched me in the head. Hope the police find them.

A few days before Christmas 07' I was walking home from a friends house party( a little drunk), I was on 14th street and crossing under the underpass at Bow Trail(i think) when I was sucker punched by an Indian whom I only saw for a moment. I dont remember much other then when I somehow got home 3 hours later I was covered in blood, all my clothes torn and had some pretty severe cuts and bruises. Of course my wallet, earing(ripped out of my ear) and watch were taken as well. I spent a month walking the streets trying to recognize the Indian that did that too me(I know there was more then one, but I only got a look at the one) and was ready to beat the pulp out of him, but to no avail. Still pisses me off to think about it. Sorry to hear about your Dad West Karma - I can relate to his hurt, thankfully for me I am a younger man - to do that to a senior citizen is fricken horrid. Hopefully your username comes into play and those SOB's get hit by a train.

Not sure what you mean about "racist card# as the only racists were the 3 that beat up his Dad.

Sounds like they were Native Canadians. I am sorry that this happened to your father and I hope the police catch the group of individuals that did this to him! Every group has good people within it and bad people within it and it sounds like your father encountered some of the bad people in the Native Canadian group!

Sorry, that came across wrong. I meant to say the racist card is not applicable here, it was just three idiots doing the beating. I had a long day.

I'm guessing Southland Station is part of the LRT line? Unfortunately, transit systems tend to be populated by the unsavory. They're also a popular home for drug trafficking - which again leads to this kind of crap.

I think your focus at this point should be on your dad's well being, and making sure he feels safe in his own home. This type of thing tends to be more damaging psychologically than physically in the long run. It might be worth looking into a home security system if he hasn't got one (though I recognize this took place outside his home). More peace of mind than anything.

There's always lots of Indians around that area for some reason. I think it might have something to do with being the closest c-train station to the T'su Tsina reservation(I realize I butchered that).
