Would be great if he did get the call, hopefully he and Maki can form 2/3 of a super Finn line for the Flames.

Are you serious?
If Pusstinen carves out a career like Huselius I would be, and everyone else should be thrilled. Huselius gets alot of flack, and I give him aot as well, but he is an NHL player who has had several good seasons and has several ahead of him.
Anyways, good stuff, should be interesting to see how he adjusts.

Seconded.
We'd be lucky if Jusso turns out to be half the player Huselius is, in terms of production.

I am sure that Puustinen does not have a contract with Calgary. Might be a delay. Can he be signed by Quad City directly or given a tryout agreement instead?.

ya he's one guy i've kept a close eye one over the last 2 years. I think (i hope) he could be a really solid player in a year or two....he's certainly performed well in his short time playing in the whl.

You know, I'd like to actually see a QC game. How do I go about doing this.

B2 networks would be the easiest, I believe.

I think each game is $6.00 US. The next game is in Des Moines against the Stars on the 1st. Next home game is the 4th against Rockford.
Otherwise I believe it involves a flight from Calgary to Minneapolis/St. Paul, and then a connecting flight to Moline via Northwest Air.

There's actually a shuttle that runs from this area to O'Hare in Chicago daily. I think it's around $40.

If somebody wants to come to a QC game from Calgary, I'll volunteer to provide free tickets!
That would be almost as awesome as getting Puustinen here!!
(McGill said tonight that the Finn's a possibility as well, but that we shouldn't expect too much. It's quite the transition from juniors to the AHL....and at the end of a long season, it's even a bigger leap.)

Does that sufficiently answer your question, Locke?
Hook a flight to QC, PIMking will pick you up from the airport, SparkyOne will provide the tickets.
