Car theif owned by Beyond CSI

i did a quick search and didnt find anything so i hope this is not fata

background story: a 1991 skyline got stolen and the owner posted a thread on local car forum beyond.ca

a member spotted the stolen car and thief and got a picture... most epic thread evar!!

Yeah I just read most of that thread... I guess the guy just got arrested and pictures and video of that will be posted shortly.

I believe this is a Calgary car forum (?) and it went worldwide to countless other message boards in the span of 24 hours.

There are some really funny posts on that thread about the accused. It's crazy how that thread has been passed around world wide via the internet. Good work to the Beyond members in tracking down the stolen vehicle.

I'm not really into cars too much, but since that is a Cgy forum, I browse its other sub-forums every once in a while.

I remember just less than a year ago (?) there was a hit and run. A member came on to ask if anyone saw it, as it was his car that got hit.
Within a few hours a guy came on with pictures of the hit and run, with a damn good image of the driver who did the hit. The guy said, he saw the hit, and instinctively grabbed his nearby camera just in case.

update: thief has been arrested.. another member spotted the car at the theif's house (which btw was discovered by another member) and boxed the car in until cops arrived..

I'm too lasy to read all 30 pages of the thread, but from what I gather events unfolded like this:
-Guy posts details about stolen car
-Poster spots car, takes picture of driver and passenger
-Another poster finds matching picture on facebook and gets address of theif
-Another poster find address, blocks the car in and calls the cops
-Cops come and arrest theif

Is that basically it?
