Default Lost Parking Ticket

Man, what a bad week I had parking at the Whitehorn station. On Tuesday I fell asleep on the C-train after I got off work and missed the Whitehorn stop. The train starts to go back downtown as I wake up. So I get off the next stop and rush accross the platform to catch the train going back to Whitehorn. I get to my car and realised that my car keys (and all my other keys) are missing. So someone either picked my pocket while I passed out on the train or I dropped them somehow. I had to call my buddy to drive me to my house in Coventry Hills and grab my spare car and house key. The only good luck I had that day was my roommate was out of town but flukily left his spare under the mat since a buddy of his was supposed to pick up some hockey jerseys. I would've had to break into my own house if he didnt' do that. That was the first time he ever had to put his key under the mat, so I totally lucked out there

A couple years ago, my car got broken into at the Whitehorn station and my CD deck was stolen. As a result of that, I bought one of those Clubs from Canadian Tire. I use it only when I park at Whitehorn now. Anyway, back to present day. Wednesday after work, I take the train from downtown to Whitehorn train station again. I rush to the Park and Ride cause it was 5pm and I had hockey at 530pm. I know I'm going to be late, but that's okay cause its the second last week and I really wanted to play. I get to my car and realise that I although I did have my spare car and spare house key, I did not have my spare Club key. So I could not drive to hockey. Had to call a differnt buddy to pick me up and drive me to my dad's to pick up the spare key. Missed the second last week of hockey, but I won't even be able to play next week either since I'll be in Las Vegas

Anyway, today I get to the Whitehorn train station after work and found a parking ticket on my windshield. I was pretty pissed and totally forgot where I put the ticket. It is no where in my car, so I must've dropped it while I was getting in my car

Anyway, I know this post is long and there is a point to it. My question is that this ticket is for $40 and if I dont pay within 21 days, it increases to $50. I always like to pay off my debts as soon as possible so I don't have to stress about it. My question is this. How can I pay a ticket that I do not have in my hand? Do I have to wait until they send me a new ticket once its late? I always pay mine right away, so I have no idea if they even re-issue tickets that are late and/or unpaid

Any help is greatly appreciated guys!!

Did you call 311 and ask them?

They know everything. I once called them because I couldn't find one of my socks, and they told me it was behind the sofa.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure you can pay it at City Hall just by walking in.

Did you phone Calgary Transit to see if maybe someone turned in your keys?

Chances are the keys may have fallen out of your pocket on the train.

Go to the Calgary Parking Authority Headquarters across from Cowboys on 9 Ave, give them your licence plate number and they should be able to look up the ticket for you.

Or cal (403) 537-7100 and press "3" to ask about it first before you head down. (Business Hours Mon-Fri 8:00am to 4:15pm)

ken, you lie.

THEY didn't tell you where your lost sock was, they only recorded the info and passed it on to the lost socks and keys division who called you after a few days and some investigation told you what was what.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Anyway to fight a parking ticket by saying you lost/had your keys stolen and couldn't drive your car away or something?
