Default Stabbing mayhem in Calgary

This morning at around 4 am, four black males (aged 20 -30) went on a stabbing rampage, stabbing 5 people in five seperate areas of Calgary. One woman died.

yep, pretty scary stuff!
One of them was right in front of my place! (the fatal one I believe)
I work nights, so when I came home (@5:30) there was police tape everywhere!

I'll never understand random acts of violence like this. How ed up can people be that they just decide to start stabbing and hurting random people for no apparent reason. Lock their asses up and throw away the key for life.

Just a short story in the Herald but a lot of lives are permantly changed. One girl dead and her family will never get over it. Another girl probably scarred for life and the guys will never walk down the street again with the same confidence.

Guess I have to stop reffering to Edmonton as Stabmonton...

I hope all those involved are rounded up and charged with the highest penalty the law allows. This is no pity for people like this.

I sure hope when they do get caught our laws dont prove to soft as is often the case...there needs to be a very serious example set in how criminals like this are dealt with especially due to the random nature of the attacks.

wow. That's really shocking and scary. It amazes me how easily people are willing knife someone these days. It's the new shoplifting.

I hope this doesn't come out the wrong way, but from what I understand, the black gangs in Edmonton are the ones causing most of the problems right now. These type of issues aren't city exclusive, but it's too bad to see it happen anywhere.

uh....no.

Edmonton's crime is caused by a tenuous agreement between several different rival gangs, whether biker or ethnic based. "Blacks" (and that is the inappropriate term) have no more culpability in Edmonton than do any other individual. If you're in a gang, you're in a gang.

The bigger problem in Edmonton right now in my opinion is that we are overrun with homeless people and petty theft has skyrocketed.

I lived in Montreal for many years and that city has a lot of gangs.

The biker war got crazy for a while and a lot of innocent people for hurt. But even the bikers realized things were out of control and they came to an agreement and the days of innocent bystanders getting hurt ended.

The big problem was with the youth gangs. It may be politically incorrect to say but 95% of the youth gangs were black and were recent immigrants. Theres many African nations that are French speaking and as much as Quebecers hate immigrants, theyll prefer French speaking immigrants over Anglos.

Many of these people come from countries where chaos rules and they bring chaos to the streets of Canada. Toronto has the same problem with criminals immigrating from Jamaica. Some of these guys even get deported multiple times and keep ending up back in Canada.

Blah blah... i know this may sound racist and I know theres lots of white criminals who come from countries in eastern europe and the old soviet union. But go walk around the metro stations in montreal and you quickly see a lot of blacks causing trouble.

Edit:

The point of my post is that Calgarys becoming a big city with big city problems and it wouldnt surprise me that these guys are immigrant scum that Canada doesnt need.

That's quite the blanket statement.

You believe this was done by immigrants because.......?

I'll agree with the first part, in a city over 1 million people you are going to get a bunch of nuts that deserve the worst things that can be imagined. In big cities there are bound to be some bad apples (to put it mildly).

But the rest of your post is xenophobia.

I live next to an immigrant lower-income housing complex that usually has tons of youth, out and about after school/work. Today, there was hardly a youth to be seen. I'm seriously convinced someone in this complex has something to hide about the stabbings and the people who committed this act are well known in the community, as I have seen fairly weird and violent stuff go on there from my balcony.
